As a comprehensive eye physician and surgeon, Seth Yoser, MD is American Board of Ophthalmology certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. In 1984 following graduation summa cum laude from Oberlin College in Ohio with majors in Biology and English, he attended the UCLA School of Medicine. He then completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles being named Intern of the Year in 1989 followed by a fellowship year of Ocular Pathology/Uveitis at the Doheny-USC Eye Institute in Los Angeles.
Dr. Yoser then moved to Chicago and completed his Ophthalmology Residency at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in 1993. He met his wife in Chicago, and they subsequently moved to Memphis. He then completed the Roland Meyer Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases affiliated at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. The family expanded with two daughters.
Presently, Dr. Yoser practices a vast array of vision care for ages 3 to 103. With the latest modern refractive technology, he provides refractions, contact lens exams, and consultations for LASIK/PRK surgery. His three decades of experience allows him to assess, evaluate, and treat glaucoma, hypertensive and diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, ocular histoplasmosis, uveitis, and many other retinal conditions.
